About Arts Pacific Gallery

Arts Pacific Gallery is a collective of artists living full time on Bowen Island. The aim of the collective is to present, promote and sell beautiful handcrafted items and works of art to the public. It was an inspired concept dreamed up by Jeannette Wrenshall, a local ceramic artist and tile maker. By the summer of 1998 she had found 14  like-minded artists interested  in forming a members run arts guild and gallery operating at Artisan Square and named it  Bowen Island Arts Pacific Guild.

Now in its 20th year with a slight name change, Arts Pacific Gallery is thriving and still operating as a volunteer members collective. It supports up to 16 local artists through art sales. Celebrations of the 20th anniversary are in the plans for the coming year. Please send us  your email address if you would like to hear more about this.

Artists in any media ready to access the marketplace, living on Bowen Island and accepting the principals of the co-operative movement and volunteerism are welcome to apply to become members. Send us an email for more information.

Arts Pacific Gallery is open 7 days a week, 11-4 pm in the summer (May to September) and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in the winter. During the weeks approaching Christmas the gallery is usually open every day
